For clarity and transparency, please note that I do not accept insurance. All payments must come directly from you*.
These are my session fees for 2023:
- Regular session (may include short EMDR “bursts”): 45 minutes – $165
- EMDR Intensive: 90 minutes – $365
I have recently re-opened a few sliding scale spots for regular sessions (not EMDR intensives). The fees for sliding scale range from $110 to $145.
Please bear in mind that payments for each session are due at its conclusion. Unfortunately, carrying a balance due is not possible. If your card is declined after a session, we will not be able to meet again until full payment is received.
It’s important to note that session fees may increase by 10% annually, effective from January 1st each year. This adjustment reflects the changes in inflation and the cost of living. Please plan in advance for this potential change each January. Rest assured, you will be notified at least a month in advance if there are any changes in rates for the upcoming year.
All payments will be run through Ivy Pay, a credit card processor designed for therapists with HIPAA compliance in mind. You will receive a text after your first session with a link to setup and store your credit/debit/hsa card. From there on out, I will automatically charge your card after each session.
*The only exception to direct payment from you is if you have been awarded funding from The National Queer and Trans Therapists of Color Network Mental Health Fund. I will accept payment from NQTTCN to assist in covering your therapy costs.
